Vision:

Empowering individuals to reach his/her fullest potential through education.

Center for Education Excellence and Development (CEED) is a not for profit organization operating in the Atlanta area with its focus on providing education, awareness and support to minority communities in Georgia. Founded more than six years ago and formally organized two years ago, CEED has already become the leading source of information and guidance to a number of minority groups in Georgia, Florida, and recently Tennessee.

The populations we serve consist of and not limited to Caribbean descent, Haitians, Jamaicans, Bangladeshis, Indians, Ethiopians, Burmese, Africans, Hispanics, African American, and any other emerging hard to reach minority community. Over the past years, CEED has assisted these communities in the Metro Atlanta areas with a number of programs to improve their overall public health awareness in the community, increasing health literacy, supporting prevention efforts to eliminate health disparities, and help connecting communities to available services and resources. We strive to educate and provide comprehensive programs to equip each individual with the tools they need to properly manage their health, education, finances, and to build a stronger community.

During the 2013-14 open enrollment for the ACA, CEED has educated a number of communities in their own languages, and facilitated the enrollment of approximately 2600 enrollees into private health insurance from the Marketplace. The work of CEED goes beyond more than one can imagine as we enhance the lives of others, especially those who have language barriers, high rates of illiteracy, and endure other cultural challenges.

It is our vision to empower individuals to reach his/her fullest potential through education.  Our mission is to build a stronger community through health awareness, education planning, financial education, and economic development. We seek to be the voice and the bridge between minority communities and the community at large in the Atlanta area. Our services are catered to community members of every age and background.
